As the name suggests, yellow is everywhere you look here: from the fabric of the armchairs to the servers' ties. But whether you like flashy colours or not, there is no doubt you will enjoy this fun, friendly, first-floor restaurant. Fort-de-France locals – known as Foyalais – come here primarily for the cuisine, but also for the very warm welcome and impeccable service. Halfway between metropolitan gastronomy and local specialities, the chef prepares a creative and refined range of flavourful dishes made with fresh products, and elegantly presented. The compact menu changes regularly: one day it might be turbot in champagne, the next, a “giraumounade”, an oat risotto with deep-fried sea urchins. Even the bread is baked fresh on site. In the evening, the dishes are presented in a silver service, which adds to the chic atmosphere of the table.
Nights of full moon are an opportunity for thematic dinners - cuisine of yesteryears, wines from the Loire region, "from the Champagne region to the Antilles" - very popular in Fort-de-France. You could even leave with a few homemade products like fruit liquors or spicy oil.
