After successful openings in the Chapinero and Parque 93 districts, Selina sets up a new home amidst La Candelaria, Bogotá's historical part of town. Between Art Deco, Baroque looks and a Spanish colonial style, the hostel settled in an old building with exposed brick walls. The decoration of both private rooms and dormitories has been carefully thought out, with trendy bohemian furniture, navy blue tiles on the bathroom floors and raw wood used everywhere, from the floorboards to the headboards.
The hostel's facades display gorgeous works of street art. The large and colourful frescoes represent various aspects of Colombian life and add some extra charm to the already stylish building. At the centre of the establishment, a patio, replete with tables and bench seats, allows mobile workers and passing visitors to enjoy a moment of peace and quiet in this very lively neighbourhood.
