When paying the full fare currently in effect, an Economy Class seat will be provided for all full-fare reservations on long-distance flights, except in the case of unforeseen operational circumstances. This offer does not apply to Award tickets and on aircraft with fewer than 100 seats.

If your desired class of service is not available when booking travel, you have priority status on the reservation waitlist (provided waitlists are accepted on the flight and/or in your desired class). This offer does not apply to Award tickets..

Preferred seating

You can reserve one of a number of select seats at time of booking on long-distance flights.
Based on availability, we will make every effort to accommodate your seating preference.

Reserve a Seat Plus

You can guarantee extra leg room when you travel in the Voyageur cabin on longhaul flights* by reserving a seat with additional space in advance.
These seats are located:
- on the upper deck of the Boeing 747-400,
- next to the emergency exit doors,
- next to the emergency exit doors on the Airbus A380 (main deck and upper deck).

This service is available for a fee of €50 per seat and per flight**. It is free of charge for Flying Blue Gold and Platinum members who identify themselves with their Flying Blue card number when purchasing an electronic ticket.
You can purchase Seat Plus when you check in online or, on the day of your departure, at any Air France counter at Paris-Charles de Gaulle 2 and Bordeaux airports.
Please note that a limited number of these seats are available: remember to make your request as soon as the online check-in period begins!

*Flights on Airbus A340 aircraft, and flights departing Atlanta, Detroit, Newark, Seoul and Damascus are not eligible for this offer. Extra baggage allowance

You benefit from an additional baggage item weighing a maximum of 23 kg for all tickets for AIR FRANCE* and KLM flights issued after March 28, 2010.
On Delta Airlines flights (between Bombay and Amsterdam), as well as Kenya Airways and Air Europa flights, you benefit from an extra baggage allowance of 20 kgs.

* Except on flights to Corsica, for which you benefit from an extra baggage allowance of 20 kgs.

Access to Lounges

Take the time to relax at the airport! Throughout the world, you and a guest of your choice have access to any of our airport lounges ^(1). From now, you can also invite others to join you in the lounges on certain international stopovers ^(2). For these extra guests (beyond the 1^st guest), there is an entrance fee that varies by country:

25 and 35€ in Europe, Asia, Pacific, the Middle East, Africa,
35 and 50 USD in the United States and Latin America,
30 and 50 CAD in Canada,
or 2,500 and 5,000 Miles depending on the zone.

You have access to the lounges when you fly on:

a SkyTeam flight within France, with a connection on an international SkyTeam flight on the same day,
an international AIR FRANCE, KLM or SkyTeam flight,
an AIR FRANCE flight within France, departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle,
a KLM flight within the Netherlands, departing from Amsterdam Schiphol,
an international SkyTeam flight arriving in Paris-Charles de Gaulle terminal 2C,
an international SkyTeam flight arriving at Amsterdam Schiphol, Dubai, Glasgow, Houston, Johannesburg and Toronto in KLM Crown Lounges.

Simply present your Flying Blue Platinum Elite Card to board at your convenience for more time to locate your seat and to store your carry-on luggage.
Aeromexico offers this benefit on all flights except between Mexico City and Monterrey as well as Mexico City and Guadalajara.
Air France offer this benefit on international flights only.
Delta does not offer this benefit on Delta Shuttle flights, Delta Connection flights and SONG flights.

Priority baggage handling

Special baggage tags indicate checked luggage belonging to SkyTeam Elite Plus* members so that your bags are delivered expeditiously to the baggage-claim area.
