| 1. | Is it safe to use my credit card online? | ||
| Yes. The reservation system is located on a secure server that guarantees the safety of a transaction. The system uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encrypting technology. SSL works by encrypting all communications between your computer and our server so that the information cannot be intercepted. |
| 2. | What type of credit cards can I use to purchase my ticket online? | ||
| Our reservation system accepts international credit card payments from American Express, Diners Club, EuroCard/MasterCard, JCB and Visa. |
| 3. | What is the security number? | ||
| For your safety and security, we require that you enter an additional verification number: the security number. For Eurocard, Mastercard or Visa, the security number is the last 3 digits of the number normally printed on the back of your credit card. For American Express, it is the 4 digits on the front of the card. This security number is for verification purposes only and will not be stored. |
| 4. | My credit card was refused by the system. What should I do? | ||
| Verify that you have entered your credit card number correctly, without any spaces, and that the expiry date is in the MM/YY format, for example, 12/05. If the problem persists, please call Air France at 070 / 22 24 66. |
| 5. | I want to pay by bank transfer. What should I do? | ||

If you want to pay by bank transfer, you have to book your flight at least 15 working days before your departure.
After booking, your banking order must be given to your bank within 3 days following your reservation. You can obtain the bank account number during the wjole booking process by clicking on the appropriate button. Ticket(s) will be issued after validation of your payment by our Accountancy Department. If payment is not on the Air France Belgium account within 5 days after your booking, your reservation will be cancelled. |
| 6. | How much is the Internet service fee for an online booking ? | ||
| For each ticket bought on airfrance.be or airfrance.lu, the internet service fee is offered. That way Air France guarantees the best fare on her websites. |
| 7. | Can I purchase an e-ticket for someone else? | ||
| If you choose to pay online by credit card, it is not possible to make a reservation that does not include yourself. If you want to book an e-ticket for someone else, you have to pay by bank transfer. |
| 8. | What is an e-ticket? | ||
| The e-ticket is an electronic ticket. As opposed to the traditional paper ticket you will be able to check in by only presenting your passport or your identity card and your identifier (credit card, frequent flyer card, passport number, or identity card number) if you have specified one during the booking process (optional). With electronic ticket, you save time at check-in and enjoy carefree travel without looking for your ticket! |
| 9. | With an e-ticket, what do I present at the airport? | ||
| To check in, just present your passport or your identity card and your identifier (credit card, frequent flyer card, passport number, or identity card number) if you have specified one during the booking process (optional). |
| 10. | I want a paper ticket instead of an e-ticket. Can I buy it online? | ||
| It is not possible to have a paper ticket for routes eligible to e-ticket. |
| 11. | Can I choose an e-ticket if my departure is from Brussels-Midi station ? | ||
| Yes ! If your departure is from Brussels-Midi station to an eligible final destination, you can buy an e-ticket. |
